Two Events. One Location.
This Australia Day weekend enjoy two very special events in Parramatta Park: experience the breathtaking hot air balloon illumination spectacular on Saturday 25 January, followed by a morning of watching hot air balloons soaring, delicious BBQ food, and family-friendly activities on Sunday 26 January. Entry is free for both events and no registration is required.
Balloon Glow, Sat 25 January: 4pm – 9pm
Get ready for a spectacular sight on Saturday 25 January, as Balloon Glow takes off in Parramatta Park! This evening event features a stunning hot air balloon illumination display, live music, family activities, delicious food and more.
Balloon Breakfast, Sun 26 January: 6am – 11am
Bring your friends and family to Parramatta Park this Australia Day to see the hot air balloons soaring while enjoying live music and entertainment, activities for the whole family plus yummy BBQ breakfast food. Running from 6am until 11am, this is the perfect opportunity to get out of the house for a fun morning outdoors.
Fly high above the park in a hot air balloon! The tethered balloon rides run from 6am – 9am on Sunday 26 January and cost $10 per person. Tickets can only be purchased in advance through City of Parramatta's ballot registration system.
